About

Launched in April 2023, Ethics@Bath is the online system for creating and reviewing all research projects carried out by or with the University.  

The software, developed by Infonetica, has been customised to support the specific needs of the University of Bath.  

Ethics@Bath is the product of a collaboration between the University's Research Governance & Compliance Teamand the Research Innovation Services under the Sponsorship of the Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research).  

In designing Ethics@Bath, we benefited from helpful discussions with University of Bath academics, students and professional services. We also acknowledge the guidance provided by the UK Research Integrity Office and insightful discussions with colleagues from other Universities who kindly gave up their time and expertise to help us shape this system. We would particularly like to thank colleagues at the Universities of Lancaster, Teesside, Lincoln, Newcastle, Manchester, Swansea and King’s College London.
